North Korean Troops Poised to Join Russia-Ukraine War, Sparking Global Alarm

 North Korea's foreign minister arrived in Russia for talks amid growing concerns that North Korean troops may soon support Moscow in the Russia-Ukraine war. NATO reported that thousands of North Korean soldiers are moving toward the front lines, causing alarm in Kyiv and Seoul.

Ukraine called for more weapons and international efforts to stop North Korea’s involvement. South Korea, still technically at war with the North, warned that if North Korea gains military knowledge from the conflict, it could pose a serious threat to regional security. Analysts suggest that North Korean troops may play a political rather than decisive military role, strengthening Russia’s leverage over the U.S. and its allies.
