Bournemouth vs Tottenham

Bournemouth pulled off another impressive result at Vitality Stadium, defeating Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 to move up to ninth place in the Premier League standings.

The game’s only goal came in the 19th minute, when 19-year-old defender Huijsen, a summer signing from Juventus, headed in a corner from Marcus Tavernier. The teenager made history as Bournemouth’s youngest-ever Premier League scorer. Despite dominating with 19 shots and eight on target, Bournemouth missed several opportunities to extend their lead.

Tottenham, on the other hand, struggled to make an impact. Ange Postecoglou’s side managed just nine shots, only four on target, and rarely troubled the Bournemouth defense. Son Heung-min, surprisingly benched at the start, was subbed in during the second half but couldn’t change the game. Spurs had three goals disallowed for offside, including one from Son just two minutes after his introduction.

With this victory, Bournemouth continues to show their resilience at home, adding Tottenham to their list of high-profile scalps. Meanwhile, Spurs’ inconsistent form remains a concern, with just one win in their last four matches.

Tottenham will look to bounce back as they return home to face Chelsea this weekend
