The Premier League has set a rule where players who accumulate five yellow cards in the first 19 matches will face a one-match suspension. However, this rule will change starting from the match against Manchester United on January 5, 2025. From that point on, players who receive ten yellow cards within the first 32 matches will be suspended for two games. Currently, Liverpool's Ryan Gravenberch and Darwin Nunez have four yellow cards and need to avoid another to prevent a suspension.
